Transport

Australis Noosa Lakes Resort is located in Noosaville, which is 1.5 hrs drive north of Brisbane – the capital City of Queensland, Australia.

Here are a number of transport options to make your journey to Utopia Retreat 2009 carefree, and to assist your stay on the Sunshine Coast.

Maroochydore Airport

The Sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydore (Mudjimba) is a 35-40 minute drive from the Australis Resort in Noosaville, approximately 35km.

The airport has regular Virgin Blue and Qantas (Jetstar) services from Sydney and Melbourne, with connections from other capital cities.

Brisbane Airport

Brisbane Airport is the International and Domestic airport for southeast Queensland. It is a 1.5 - 2 hour drive from Brisbane airport to The Australis Resort in Noosaville (140 km).

Coach or Bus Services are available from both Brisbane & Maroochydore airports.  Please check with individual coach services below to confirm their requirements re bookings, timetables, costs etc..

Hire Car

Hire Cars are available from Both Brisbane & Maroochydore Airports (Avis, Budget, Hertz, Thrifty).  It is recommended however that you book your hire car in advance.

Limousines

Limousines are also available from Both Brisbane and Sunshine Coast airports to The Australis Resort in Noosaville.

Noosa River Ferry

The Noosa Ferry operates all year round.  There is a ferry service from the Noosa Harbour Marina that goes can take you direct to Noosa Heads, and the famous Hastings St – the restaurant and shopping mecca of Noosa.

Bus Services – Noosa/Noosaville

Noosa/Noosaville does have a public transport bus service called SunBus , however the service isn’t as frequent over weekends.  The route past The Australis Resort is Route 632.
